Japan sends 5 specialists to advise Dominican Institutions

The director of (JICA), Tadashi Ikeshiro explained that this advice is part of a Japanese collaborative program developed since 1986 and through which they send every year, five specialists who collaborate and advise on the development of priority areas in the Dominican Republic.
Ikeshiro explained that each volunteer represents an investment of $40,000 for Japan.
Among the specialists are Masanobu Teshima, a specialist in refrigeration and air conditioning, assigned to the National Institute of Technical and Vocational Training (Infotep); Takafuni Nakayama, metrology specialist assigned to the General Directorate for Standards and Quality Systems (DIGENOR) and Kenichi Kamagahara, a specialist in rural community development, assigned to the Foundation for the Development and Protection of River Basin Nizaito in Paraso (Fundeprocunipa).
Deputy Minister of Economy Planning and Development, Inocencio Garca, applauded the collaboration of Japan, indicating that it represents an invaluable contribution.
