Jones aswear in the LMD

Viewed 15 times.The new Secretary general of the Dominican Municipal League (LMD), Johnny Jones, said yesterday to be sworn in Office that their efforts will concentrate on strengthening the municipality of the country, assuring them the mayors that his Office will be a room for solutions to their problems.
According to Jones, the institution which directs should lead to a process of "education on the basis of a culture of cleaning, recycling and environmental" in the country.
The reform-minded leader was elected unanimously at the General Assembly of municipalities, which counted with the presence of 117 mayors, and handed a plaque of recognition to the outgoing President Fidias Aristy as as "Municipalist exemplary Spotlight 2011".
Jones was completed up to the headquarters of the institution by a group of his reformist supporters, who improvised a small caravan from hotel Dominican Fiesta, which was where the u000aAssembly, to the premises of the LMD.
The front of the institution became a small nightclub, since reformers came with a laminated poster of Jones truck and rhythm of Reggaeton and de celebrated the election of the political leader at the head of the League.
The swearing in of Jones was in charge of the Minister of Interior and police, and President ex-officio of the LMD, José Ramón Fadul, who in a few words made clear to participants that there is continuity in the institution, "Nobody comes to sweep with anyone," said, alluding to fears of some employees to be paid.
Jones in his speech thanked the Chair of the Social Christian Reformist Party (PRSC), Carlos Morales Troncoso, for relying on it to select it as the candidate of your organization and, moreover, to the President of the Republic and the LDP, Leonel Fernandez to keep supporting the reformist organization.
