Kill 4 Dominican women abroad

La Coordinator of women of the Cibao, Yolanda Santana, warned yesterday that violence against Dominican feminists have crossed the border levels and that at least four women have been killed so far this year in Chile, Haiti and Spain.

He told the newspaper Listín that three of these have been related to family violence and one by crime common.

Santana said that to this is added the 82 Dominicans who have been killed in the country, from January to November of 2011 by their cohabitants, husbands, boyfriends and mates consensual.

However, clarified that the statistics do not mention women who have suffered mutilation of vital organs from their bodies and not ' can reintegrate activities productive.

"These women we call dead in life and therefore must be added in the list of fatalities," reflected.

In this regard, u000aIt argues that immigration has also its component of violence, because many women migrate to other countries pushed by economic problems, others are trafficked, and also there are that they are tricked and when "promised paradise", many are forced to engage in trades for which were not hired as prostitution and activities at odds with the laws of those Nations.

The feminist leader considers that these women will be full of illusions, LDCs, but then they are with a different reality where many of them forced to irregular activities which is why they are persecuted by the authorities, rejected by a substantial segment of these societies and there are those who understand that they can kill him, as if they are not human beings.
