Know today request for extradition of alleged drug Lord Oscar Rodriguez

The second room criminal of the Supreme Court of Justice, will learn Wednesday the request for extradition of alleged drug dealer Oscar Ezequiel Rodriguez Cruz, claimed by the Government of the United States to be tried by a court in Boston, U.k..

The Court, presided over by Judge Hugo Alvarez Valencia, fixed to the 9: 00 in the morning the continuation of the process of extradition of the Rodriguez Cruz, which had been dismissed until that was deposited the evidentiary documentation for the authorization of telephone interception, issued by a judge dominicano.

Court, also composed by Victor José Castellanos and Edgar Hernandez, judges decided to set the hearing, after hosting a request on the part of Deputy Government Procurator Gisela Cueto, Director of the Department of extradition of the Attorney General of the Republic, and the counsel of the U.S. Embassy Analdis Alcantara Abreu, in the sense u000aof that would set the date for the continuation of the process of extradition.

On 20 May 2009, the second Chamber of the Supreme Court judges, had freedom of Rodriguez Cruz, after hosting a pediment of its lawyer Freddy Castle, at the time that dismissed the knowledge of the request for extradition, pending was deposited evidentiary documentation of the approval of telephone interception.

But as soon the Dominican authorities provided the original judges of the Supreme, telephone, interception documents ordered last February the reapresamiento Rodriguez Cruz.

Rodriguez Cruz is the President of the movement "new revival with dad", which supports the Hipólito Mejía, presidential candidacy and whose arrest has generated a debate about the funds they receive candidates from different political parties to finance the campaign election.
