Labour said 54 percent of businesses not shared tip

"Only 46% of the companies visited meets successfully with the established," according to a report issued by the director-general labour Andrés Valentín Herrera, who said to be raising infringement proceedings to establishments that do not comply with that stipulated by law for the workers.

The report gives account that the date have been visited almost 400 establishments in which there are about 4,100 workers involved, noting that only 239 of the places visited are pursuant to the distribution of 10% of tip legal.
The director of labour also said that 70 minutes of infringement, which should be interpreted as a warning of non-compliance with any rules have been delivered and that the next step will be fining companies that aúun to be notified, continue outside of the law.
The inclusion of a 10% gratuity in the consumptions in bars and restaurants, including fast food establishments is related to compensation for low salaries paid workers in these businesses, including hotels.
