Las Placetas project awaiting approval

Las Placetas hydroelectric project will be resumed here with structural changes that represent an increase in generating capacity, less geological risks and substantial construction cost reduction initially scheduled.
The work, which will occupy first place in energy production for the national electrical system in the list of hydroelectric power plants with that has the country, was garbed in its conception and is only expected the approval of the Corporation of State electric companies (CDEEE) to continue the work.
The revision and modification of the original design were recommended by a Committee inter-institutional.
