Lawyer of Ezequiel Cruz, requested in extradition for drug trafficking, opposing judges SCJ

The second room criminal of the Supreme Court of Justice (SCJ) awarded him within five days to the defence of Oscar Ezequiel Rodriguez, who is requested in extradition by United States to be tried for drug trafficking, to present the disqualification against two judges of that tribunal which had as representatives of the Ministry public.

The decision comes after counsel for the accused, Thomas Castro, asked the inhibition of the National District, Alexander Moscoso Segarra, former Attorney and former Deputy Prosecutor Frank Soto, on the understanding that they could be biased, but they refused.

Castro made the pediment on the understanding that Moscoso Segarra met an appeal of habeas corpus filed by the defendant in Court of permanent care of the national district where the public prosecutor's Office was of the view on that instance.

While in the case of Frank Soto the defence alleges that the Deputy Prosecutor, John Garry, u000awho worked in the Office who ran Soto, was the person who executed the warrant of arrest issued by then judges of the second Chamber criminal of the SCJ.

After the pediment the judges understood that they had no need to suppress, so were disqualified by Castro, who was given five days to present the allegations to support the impeachment.

Also the defense of Rodriguez Cruz requested the tribunal to reject the request made by the Attorney-General, in the sense that initiated the process of extradition of his defendant from scratch, since that previous judges of that Court had acquitted the process until both were deposited documents on interceptions of telephone calls made to the accused.

The Director of the Department for the extradition of the Attorney-General, Germain Cueto, and counsel of the Embassy of United States, Analdy Alcantara had asked the Court to start the u000aextradition process from scratch so that the judges have knowledge about what is was making from the outset, or otherwise continue with the process after the acquittal.

While Rodriguez Cruz claimed that they want to disrupt the movement "New revival with dad" and that you are leading their people to other parties.

Said that it was strange that you have not seized their property when you are accusing of narcotrafficking.
