President Leonel Fernandez emphasized yesterday the tourist potential of the municipalities Jarabacoa and Constanza, both from the province of La Vega, where a 27 kilometres of highway that links to these two communities left opened.

Fernandez said that the construction of the road the River-Jarabacoa, work raised by the Government through the Ministry of public works and communications, with an investment of more than $ 100 million, corresponds with the development potential of this region.

Pointed out that currently Jarabacoa has become the ecological capital of Dominican Republic, at the time noted that the new path potentiates that perception.
