Leonel receives congratulations on your birthday

President Leonel Fernandez yesterday received the congratulations of officials, legislators, employers, friends, relatives and various personalities who attended the National Palace, on the occasion of his birthday number 58.

While Fernandez received congratulations the Orquesta Típica and the string trio of the presidential guard played typical meringues and songs of yesterday, as a way to brighten the atmosphere.

Both groups came to the Hall of ambassadors, on the third floor of the Palace, where the head of State received greetings, equipped with guitars, güiras, and accordion, beginning its offer with the song "happy birthday".

In the middle of the music, forcing attendees to move as authentic Dominicans, the President received the greetings of the hundreds of people who came to express their appreciation and admiration.

The first to congratulate him was the Minister of the Presidency, Cesar Pina Toribio, u000afollowed by the administrative Minister, Luis Manuel Bonetti; the Minister of the armed forces, lieutenant general Joaquín Virgilio Perez Féliz, and Chief of staff of the army, the Dominican air force and the Navy. In addition, the reformist leaders, Alexandra Izquierdo, Modesto Guzmán, Federico Antun and Hector Rodriguez Pimentel.

Fernández arrived at Government House at 10: 30 a.m., and u000aimmediately turned to his Office where was expected by officials and close friends who also congratulated him.

Each year for this date, it has become tradition that the mandatary receives various personalities to congratulate him on the occasion of the day of his birthday, activity that always extends for several hours.
