Listín Diario, national army and ephemeris Patrias conduct act in homage to Juan Pablo Duarte

In the Act of homage to the patrician, the director of the press, Miguel Franjul, the Deputy director, Fabio Cabral, the head of State of the national army, major general Rafael Caceres Chestaro, and the President of the National Commission of ephemeris homelands, Juan Daniel Balcácer, hoisted the national flag on the front Esplanade of this newspaper.
Franjul stressed that the press seeks to highlight the historical memory of the country, while respecting and honoring the imprint of Duarte in the formation of the Dominican Republic.
"El LISTÍN DIARIO intends this to Dominican society that respects and values the memory of our fathers of the fatherland and all symbols contained in the great liberating and restorative struggle of those show" u000a"Heroes", stated.
He said that this newspaper will have presence in several of the activities to celebrate homeland in the country, and starts daily publications on the life and work of Juan Pablo Duarte so that it remembers its trajectory.
On their side Balcácer noted that ephemeris homelands Commission will undertake activities in honor of Duarte in cyberspace, inside which stands a March military and student of more than 2,000 people in San Francisco de Macoris with the participation of President Leonel Fernández.
"Thanks to Listín Diario for the support that has always provided to the Standing Committee of ephemeris homelands and all those activities aimed to exalt the values and the symbols", said.
Notes of the national anthem were tuned by the band of the national army and attended by a delegation of 32 students of the Liceo u000aPanamericana, well as the editor-in-Chief of this newspaper, María Isabel Soldevila, head of information, Tomás Aquino Méndez, the Marketing Manager, Patricia Hernandez and the staff of this editor.
