Liza Minnelli is to perform in the Dominican Republic for the first time when she gives the closing concert for the Dominican Global Film Festival on November 22nd..

According to the promoters, the famous American actress and singer will present a memorable evening of songs and stories at the National Theater of Santo Domingo.

The star, who won an Oscar for "Cabaret" in 1972, and is also famous for her roles in several musical productions including "New York, New York", more recently appeared in "Sex and the City."
