Lula, of 66 years, received on 29 October a diagnosis of laryngeal cancer and two days later began treatment with chemotherapy in the Lebanese Syrian Hospital of Sao Paulo, where it was discovered the disease.
Former President remained only a few hours in u000athe hospital and then detained in his apartment in Sao Bernardo do Campo, neighboring city of Sao Paulo, where he has continued with the treatment.
At his residence, Lula has received since the visit of several politicians Brazilian, among them the President Dilma Rousseff, his successor.
