Man rescued from Haiti rubble

The man, identified as Evan Muncie, was found in the rubble of a market where he sold rice.
When he was found, Muncie was dehydrated and malnourished, but apparently had no serious injuries, doctors said.
Dr. Mike Connelly, Medishare project of the University of Miami said that Muncie had not eaten anything in a long time and had open ulcerated wounds on both feet .
The man told doctors that someone had given him water while he was trapped, but the doctors said Muncie is visibly confused and at times believed himself still to be trapped under the rubble.
The discovery comes almost a month after the earthquake of 7 magnitude on the Richter scale struck the country, destroying its capital, Port au Prince, and leaving more than 200,000 dead and thousands of injured victims.
The Government of Haiti terminated the search and rescue efforts on 23 January to focus on debris removal and medical care, but the rescue yesterday raised hopes for more survivors
