Man shoots another in the face after vehicular collision

A 51-year-old man shot another man in the face and killed him, after their vehicles had a small accident on Avenida 27 de Febrero in the Hoya del Caimito area of Santiago.
Police identified the alleged murderer as 51 year-old Vinicio Gómez Vargas, alias "Coto", and the victim as José Agustín Rodríguez Peralta. The murderer used a legally owned 38 caliber Smith & Wesson revolver in the attack.
The police report states that Gómez Vargas was driving his red Toyota Hilux truck, red, when he had a slight collision with a white Chevrolet car driven by the victim.
Police were able to apprehend Gómez Vargas just moments after the incident.
