MAP integrates 1,335 employees administration

The Ministry of public administration (MAP) yesterday joined 1,335 public servants to administrative careers, reaching 55 thousand State employees beneficiaries, representing 35 percent of the servers-minded career.

The holder of the portfolio, Ramón Ventura Camejo, said that the fact that the State has a 55 thousand employees of the race is a number significant in any country of Latin America.

"To this figure we are placing in the first, in terms of quantity and quality of public administration", said Ventura Camejo said that it has been possible thanks to funding from RD$ 400 million for four years on the part of the European Union.

Reported that the Ministry signed an agreement with the Dominican Municipal League and the Dominican Federation of municipalities (Fedomu), in 20 municipalities participating in a pilot scheme to promote municipal administrative careers, which Ventura Camejo u000aIt was considered as fundamental to strengthen the management capacity of the municipalities.

The Minister said that the incorporation of the 1,335 servants, is another example of the progress achieved in the field of modernization and the strengthening of public administration Dominican.

The activity was held at the Hall of conferences of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and counted with the presence of the Ambassador of the European Union, Irene Horejs, who described as important as the incorporation of the new employees.

Said that for three years they are financed from the initiative for the professionalization of the public administration.
