Margarita is leading the delivery of computers to students

Viewed 16 times.First Lady of the Republic, Margarita Fernández Cedeño, delivered yesterday the first 266 computers, a total of 1,300 will be donated by the Presidential Office of the information and communication technologies (OPTIC), through its programme "Computers for all", deserving of scarce economic resources of the country students.
During a ceremony in the National Palace, laptops computers were delivered by Cedeño of Fernandez and the director of the OPTIC, Tavárez Sunday; the Ministers of education Josefina Pimentel of the Franklin Rodriguez youth director of welfare student of the University autonomous of Santo Domingo (UASD), Professor José Francisco Disla, and Ambassador of the Republic of China (Taiwan)Thomas Ping-Fu Hou.
Advantaged students include Jesus Enmanuel Henríquez, Estefanía Amparo Morillo, Médelin Garabito, of the Progresando programme of the Office of the first lady, as well u000aas Luz Milagros Valdez Alcantara, Elvirani Taveras and Dionisio Calzada, the Ministry of education.
Benefit students belong to programs Progresando in the Office of the first lady; the ministries of education and youth of the UASD, institutions that took in charge the selection of juveniles.
Competitive world
speaking at the event, the first lady exposed the Government's interest that young people acquire the skills they need in order to insert successfully to the competitive world demanded by 21st century.
Noted that having a computer is accessing infinite possibilities of development and social, and personal growth "is the possibility of having information quality and relevance", he added.
