The person spoke Wednesday with associated press on condition of remaining anonymous because the signings can not advertise but until that is ratified new collective of the NBA.
McGrady of 32 years, has been elected seven times to the all-star game, but several health problems have prevented him from showing the constancy of the past and forced him to play only in parts of the parties and campaigns. The previous season, averaging eight points and 3.5 rebounds in 72 games with the Detroit Pistons, his third club in the past two years.
Approaches to McGrady suggest that the Hawks do not renew the contract with his principal reservist Jamal Crawford, who has attracted interest from other trust u000ateams.
