Medina promises to rule of law to protect women

Celebrate is today the international day of No violence against women, Medina cautioned that it is time for the Dominican woman to receive the care and protection it deserves for the whole society.
Said that it is time to acknowledge the great contributions, the great sacrifices made by the Dominican people. He stated that his Government would boost the establishment of a legal and social framework to eradicate violence gender.
He argued that it is necessary to create procedural conditions conducive to punish the murders of so many women that are produced in the country.
"But necessary, Furthermore, to combat the social causes that lead to so many men to resort to violence to solve family problems," said presidential candidate u000apeledeísta.
He added that gender-based violence is a thing of the past and must create conditions so that the Dominican man use methods that modern society puts at their disposal to resolve the differences that occur in the family.
He reiterated the commitment made in the Act of proclamation of her candidacy for rule of law to protect women Dominican.
He stated that on 25 November constitutes an historic date in the fight for the right of women, because it was the blood of Dominican butterflies, Patria, Minerva and Maria Teresa, shed by the political intolerance which led to the Organization of the United Nations to declare that date against the violence of gender.
"I want to reiterate the unavoidable commitment that I have taken against all kinds of gender-based violence," expressed.
