Mejía aswear PRSC members

Hipólito Mejía, presidential candidate for the Dominican Revolutionary Party (PRD), yesterday received the support of leaders and activists of the reformist Social Christian Party (PRSC) of the municipality of Jima Arriba, La Vega.

Thank the support of the followers of the party founded by Dr. Joaquín Balaguer died, Mejia promised that it would end with "relaxation" of imports of the main agricultural products of mass consumption in his Government.

He also promised the support of his Government, as it did in the management before, women, youth and the producers to enable them to earn money and they can have a comfortable life with their families, fruit of the daily work and intellectual preparation and technique.

Said that with the support of youth, women and farmers, he hasn't lost no one forthcoming elections, as these sectors ensures an intention to vote more than 65%. He said that it is to build u000aschools and hospitals for the needy, as well as create jobs for young people and professionals from one and another sex.

He promised that if in six months has not solved the problem of the production of rice, he goes to his hometown of Gurabo.

Mejía was accompanied by the reformist leaders Manuel Amézquita, Pedro Breton, VCT Séliman Elena, Victor Hugo (Tito) Hernández, Johnny Morales y Diego Moya.

Yesterday also dozens of young people of the Dominican Revolutionary Youth (JRD), marched to 4: 00 p.m. starting from the 27th of February with Winston Churchill on the occasion of the celebration today of the day national of the youth.
