Members approve law development strategy

The piece had the vote in favour of 104 deputies, four against and 13 abstained from voting. The initiative was supported by the benches of the LDP, PRD and PRSC. The law establishes the obligation to allocate 4% of GDP to education from 2013.

Loans
on the other hand, the members approved two loans totaling 90 million dollars and a commercial contract for 98.3 million dollars to be used in social projects, as well as build and finish works of irrigation.
The Chamber declared emergency and adopted in two readings the draft which authorizes the Treasury to issue bonds by RD$ 1,440 million for pledge of rice.
Was also approved the project on wage regulation in the public sector, and at second reading the draft amending the law on the control and regulation of firearms, ammunition, explosives and other related materials.
