Minister: FARC have a "presence" in Ecuador

"We have raised that there is an intermittent presence of the FARC in the border". "Many times go to rest or to supply some food," said Ponce at the end of two days of meetings with his counterpart in the tourist town of Villa de Leyva, about 177 km north of Bogotá.
Ponce emphasized that his Government has strengthened combat against the FARC (revolutionary armed forces of Colombia, Marxist), the main guerrilla movement of Colombia, and other criminal gangs that cross towards Ecuador.
