More than 4.3 MM tourists travelled to RD in 2011

Dominican Republic received more than 4.3 million tourists during the recently completed year 2011, for a growth of 4.4%, according to the latest report of tourist flow 2011, published by the Central Bank, whose growth is attributed to the promotional campaign promoted by the Ministry of tourism, together with the private sector in international markets.

By 2020 were 4.1 million and 2011 visited 4,306,431 visitors. According to the report that had an impact on the growth of 5.17% on the arrival of non-resident foreigners in relation to 2010.
