Movement of support for Danilo offers a dinner

The movement women United with Danilo held a cena-conferencia, who headed the presidential candidate of the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD), Danilo Medina, and his wife doña Candy Montilla of Medina.
Activity took place at the Asodifomo Club of sector Las Caobas, where dealt with the topic "Violence." The activity was attended by more than 700 women who follow the candidacy of Danilo.
The event was sponsored by Iris guava, national coordinator of United women with Danilo.
The activity also noted the presence of Vilmanea Malena, Carmen Ramirez, Rosa Rita Alvarez, Iris guava, Flavia García, Ana María Peña, Valentina de la Cruz and Doris Vargas, who formed the Board of directors together with Medina and his wife.
The Conference offered it Rosa Rita Alvarez, psychologist and family therapist, who pointed out that violence is an evil that originates in the historical roles differentiated assigned to women and u000athe men in this society
Alvarez reported that in his Government, Danilo will strengthen programmes of prevention, care and sanction against the violence of the women.
Said that in a Government of Danilo Medina he will work to promote cultural changes that allow the population to understand that violence against children, adolescents and women is a violation of human rights.
