New Drugs Control Chiefs for Puerto Plata province after bribery allegations
posted on: Aug 5 2010 11:31 by The Reporter. Viewed 682 times.The head of the DNCD (National Drugs Control Unit) has appointed new staff in the Puerto Plata province, to replace officials and agents are under investigation for alleged bribery allegations .

Major General (PN) Rolando Rosado Mateo, has designated Major (FAD) Francisco Fernández Vásquez as the new commander of the narcotics department in Puerto Plata, replacing (EN) José María Suárez.
DNCD also appointed Captain (PN), Ramón Dicló Mateo, as chief of operations.
Other significant changes were Captain (PN), Ariel Trinidad Peña, as the new commander of the DNCD in Sosua, replacing Second Lieutenant Elvin Fulgencio Calderón. While in Cabarete, First Lieutenant (PN) Edwin Rosario Nova was appointed.
First Lieutenant Enoch Coast González, was appointed head of the DNCD in the town of Villa Isabela.
Maj. Gen. Rolando Rosado Mateo, said it will not tolerate abuse against the population and will punish DNCD agents who act in complicity with drug trafficking.
