NJC evaluated 13 aspiring to be a member of the SCJ

Applicants to this Court include nine judges, a former Attorney general of the Republic, a Deputy Solicitor and two lawyers in exercise.
For public hearings, held yesterday in the Hall the caryatids of the National Palace, had summoned 15 candidates, but Mariana Daneira García Castillo and Manuel Aurelio Hernández victory, declined her participation.
Among the evaluated was Dr. Porfirio Hernández Quezada, who was thrilled at the time of making his presentation before the members of the NJC, to the point of crying.
Were also assessed Algeria of Jesús García Jiménez, judge of the third Chamber criminal of the Court of first instance de La Vega; Martha Olga García Santamaría, Judge President of the Court of appeal of children and u000aAdolescents, from Saint Kitts, and prolapse Gautreau, Judge President of the second Chamber of the Court of work of the District National.
Also, Freddy welcome Geraldo, judge of the Court of Original jurisdiction of Peravia land; Miriam Germán Brito, Judge President of the Criminal Chamber of the Court of appeal of the National District; Mariano German Mejia, former Attorney General of the Republic and to the lawyer Dario Gomez Herrera.
Others who participated are Rubén Darío González López, Antonia Josephine Grullón white, Fabio Guerrero Baptist, Maira María of the Angeles Henríquez Díaz, Sarah Isahac Henríquez Marín and Porfirio Hernández.
On the day of last night were asked applicants on issues relating to the jurisdiction of children and adolescents, the increase in penalties for juvenile offenders of the law, real estate, Constitutional Affairs of the code of criminal procedure and measures precautionary.
The meeting of u000alast night, it started at 6: 50 pm and concluded at 11: 35, highlighted performances by Germán Brito judge and former Attorney Germán Mejía.
The NJC already assessed the aspiring candidates to judges of the Supreme Electoral Tribunal and the constitutional Trubinal in fourth of work carried out at the Government House. Today continue evaluations to aspiring SCJ.
