NJC launches today choice of judges comprising high courts

During the evaluation process were 20 session which began on August 11 and in total made 100 hours of work.
Throughout the process were examined 272 candidates, 281 called originally.

Women who were assessed by the Council of the judiciary include Aura Celeste Fernandez, Josefina Abreu Yarul, Miriam Germán Brito, Isabel Díaz, Katia Miguelina Jimenez Martinez, Carmen Imbert Brugal and Mabel Feliz, among others.

Said that the Council of the judiciary, after evaluating publicly to all candidates, is the duty of choosing the best. He said that the legitimacy of the Supreme Court of Justice, the Constitutional Court and the Superior Electoral Tribunal will depend on the quality, u000acapacity and conditions to meet its members.
