One prisoner dead and three wounded in the prison of Moca

An inmate died and three others were injured during a brawl that occurred yesterday in the Dos de Mayo prison in the municipality of Moca. The victim is Lorenzo Batista Vargas, native of the city of Santiago, who was an order of preventive detention for three months as a measure of coercion, accused of theft.

The Prosecutor of Moca, James Marchena, said Batista Vargas died of stab wounds them caused a unknown defendant. It was reported that authorities opened an investigation into the case.

After the lawsuit, internally mobilized inside the compound, forcing the military guarding the prison to fire their weapons into the air and throwing tear gas in the courtyard of the jail.

Just last Friday reported another lawsuit in that criminal in which three prisoners were with blows. This prison is not included in the new prison model existing in the country and various sectors of the u000alocality are calling for its demolition.

On the other hand, two people, including a teenager of 14 years, were arrested by the police accused of poisoning the rivers Pinillo and mud in the municipality of del Pino, where you take water hundreds of families in many communities of the area.

The police said that the detainees are Isidro Suzaña Peralta (El Mello), for 20 years, and less than age.
