Opposition leaves election campaign

The announcement of the candidate fuelled significant Capriles, who heads polls face of primaries that will take place the parties in opposition the February 12.
These will be a single candidate to face President Hugo Chávez in the presidential elections of October 7.
"The unit being built is the most powerful," said Lopez at press conference to confirm his retirement from the primary and supporting Capriles. "The Alliance comes complete to support you", added the two men embraced before hundreds of supporters who chanted "looks, feels, Capriles President".
"You will be the next President of all Venezuelans," said Lopez, former Mayor of the u000acapital municipality of Chacao and head of the party will Popular.
López had lagged behind in the recent surveys.
