Organizations demand cessation impunity in case rapes child

The feminist forum and the Association of journalists with a gender perspective called today to the instance of the leadership of the national system for the protection of children and adolescents measures to curb the impunity in cases of rape of minors of age.

Points out that while there is action and campaigns of tolerance zero, there is no comprehensive and national responses on the part of the State for the care of this problem to put an end to impunity.

They point out that the Dominican society notes the scale of violence, including rape, assault and femicide of adolescents and girls.

Organizations provided support to the activist for the rights of women, Liliam Fondeur, who former Deputy Julio Romero, threatened to force it judicially to pay 20 million pesos if it retracted not publicly for an article published in the newspaper El Nacional, which mentions him as one of the u000aaccused of raping a minor.

"The Forum feminist and the Dominican Association of journalists with a gender perspective, for the purposes necessary, do public knowledge that every and all are Liliam Fondeur and in this regard will be where it is it requires, support," they argued in a paper which was read at a press conference by the lawyer Susi Pola.
