Oscar de la Renta Tennis Tournament

Darren Baird, from Great Britain, and Meredith Cavallaro, from the US, were the winners of the tenth annual “Oscar de la Renta Social Tennis Tournament,” organized by the Punta Cana Resort & Club Tennis Center.
Joseph Smith, from Ireland, and Mary Smith, from Korea, came in second place in their respective categories.
Some 30 international players participated in the tournament. The award ceremony was directed by Oscar de la Renta, one of the world’s most distinguished fashion designers, who presented the trophies to the winners.
The Punta Cana Resort & Club Tennis Center features six clay courts, a players-only pool, a shop and a rackets rental service, tennis balls and stringing facilities.
