PARLACEN inaugurates Monday Regional Health Forum

Viewed 20 times.Commission of health, Social Security, population, labour issues and guilds of the Central American Parliament, PARLACEN, reported that on Monday at 4: 00 in the afternoon will be opened in the Dominican capital VII Regional Health Forum with the theme "right to food: a national and regional challenge", event that will bring together representatives of global agencies and national.
The Regional Forum of health also will take place on Tuesday 22 from eight in the morning. Is carried out in the Hotel Meliá Santo Domingo.
The information was offered by the Chairperson of that Committee, Mrs Milagros Diaz, who said that the event seeks to encourage proposals for the Organization of one world economic system more just to ensure the right to food through the adoption of policies at the national level and international.
The event will include parliamentarians, representatives of the Procurator u000ahuman rights and ombudsmen for the people in the field of food and nutrition security, representatives of the Governments of Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama and Dominican Republic to provide reports of what they are doing their countries on the right to food.
Also will be announced the parliamentary front against hunger of the PARLACEN, which brings together members of Parliament seeking to eradicate hunger and malnutrition in their countries through action taken by parliaments in the quest for the establishment of the right to food.
The 7th Regional Health Forum has the support of the Regional Programme of the system of the Centroamericana integration in support of food security and nutrition (PRESANCA II), the United Nations Organization for food and Agriculture (FAO), the Chamber of deputies of the Dominican Republic, the Ministry of public health, the Ministry of u000aAgriculture and the National Institute for the rights of the consumer protection (Proconsumidor).
