Peace week starts tomorrow

The Office of the first lady announced various activities throughout the country to promote the value of peace in society and make a call to awareness to practice that State of harmony.

The programme of activities, on the occasion of the week of peace, has been organized by the training project of young leaders for the progress and the peace of the Office, and will take place from Sunday 11 until the Friday 16 of December.

Rayvelis Roa, Member of the young leaders, explained that the celebration of the week of peace will begin with a walk to three in the afternoon in a simultaneous way, with more than 50 thousand youth national.

He said that the hike will take place in various provinces of the country, such as La Vega, San Cristóbal, Hato Mayor, El Seibo, San Pedro de Macorís, Moca, Villa Altagracia, Bobwhite, Bonao and Salcedo.

Also, next Monday at 9 pm, there will be a chain of prayer for peace.
