The entity managers argue that are bad are not tender itself, but the way they are carried out. They recalled the capitalization of the sector for more than one decade. With regard to the implementation of Act General of electricity 125-01, the institution reiterated that National Commission energy (CNE), nor the electricity Superintendence (SIE) have fostered respect for the mandate of such legislation with regard to the evaluation of the capitalization process.
"Is surprised that more than ten years of the capitalization process authorities now understand as a national emergency for the increase of electricity generation at low cost to avoid blackouts", said the brotherhood in a statement of u000aPress.
Recalled that the scarcity of energy (blackouts) is penalized by law 125-01, with pay once and half of the cost of energy not served for legal users.
, However, stresses that the distributors of electricity (EDES) rather than compensate for users, do so with the generators. In his opinion, the breach of the law by the Government forcing users to subsidize the national electric system.
To all
emphasized that agencies such as transparency international considered that the proper functioning of the single sector will be possible if the conditions in which the State hires are known by the citizens. The Organization criticized the placement of smart meters for the financial recovery of the distribution companies.
"So far the performance of so-called smart meters has been worse than with the old counters, already" u000a"that does not have had impact on reducing losses, neither here nor in many countries in Latin America as Bolivia, Honduras and Chile", stand out.

Participation DE LA SOCIEDAD EN GENERAL
the brotherhood of retirees and pensioners of the CDEEE pointed out that contracts should be taken into account public participation to contribute to the transparency of the contract, as stipulated in other Nations. "Citizen participation especially in large projects or when the value of the tender to generate commitments to state that affect its members in the general sense is important", it indicates the entity.
To him, when the old Dominican electricity Corporation was capitalized many put their hopes in the improvement of electric service; however, ten years after completed the process service is maintained under the same conditions that was prior to its privatization and subsequent u000arepurchase of the EDES.
