“Denny’s”, the popular US-based restaurant chain, recently opened its first restaurant in the Dominican Republic in the food court of Las Americas International Airport in Santo Domingo.
The first “Denny’s” opened in 1953, in Lakewood, California. It originally specialized in donuts, but in 1954 it became “Denny’s Cafe.”
The restaurant is now the most important family restaurant in the US, with more than 1,700 restaurants in the U.S., Canada, Costa Rica, Guam, New Zealand and Puerto Rico.
