Perform awareness walk on the Boardwalk for road safety

The Fund of development of the transport Terrestre (FONDET) and the national school of education (ENEVIAL) yesterday conducted "walking by the road safety" on Avenue George Washington.
The reason for this trek was to give closure to a whole week of activities designed to raise awareness in the Dominican population that traffic accidents are preventable.
Activity counted with the presence of institutions of transportation as the Organization for the rearrangement of transport (OPRET), the metropolitan authority of transport (AMET), the Metropolitan Office of services of Autobuses (OMSA), the Office technique of the land transport (OTTT), the General direction of transit (DGT), the Dominican Red Cross, as well as private entities and national personalities.
El FONDET contemplates continue their educational journey at universities, clubs, schools and churches in order to provide solutions to the issue of transport and education u000aRoad, as well as the decrease in accidents in Dominican Republic.?The activity was held in the month of November on the occasion of commemorating the international day for the victims of the traffic.
