The title of the exhibition, "trees in Holga", brings together works created from the woodland of Santo Domingo, in particular from the neighborhood of Gascue, taken with a camera lomographic.
Photographs of Col exhibit contrasts in form and substance. From your lens, reflected the fragility, beauty and Majesty of her foresta urban Santo Domingo of the trees they share with the human space of the city.
From the year 2009, the photographer works with your camera image less literal but more intimate trees that portrays.
"I like the alteration which produces the lens of plastic, as well as the details that captures the movie." The reality is altered, but what we see retains unique details. The Holga camera gives me the freedom to concentrate on what I see; u000atechnically is, hopefully, in the background. What is of importance in these photos is the transmutada form, and the altered colors. "It literally ceased to exist", expressed Collado information disseminated by the CCE.
