Plan will ensure food in RD

Viewed 19 times.The Foreign Minister, Carlos Morales Troncoso was received yesterday by his counterpart and Deputy Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Nayhan, who held an exchange of ideas on how to ensure the food security of the Dominican Republic.
During the dialogue, was a proposal that will be written and formality in the next few days.
It's the commitment that the United Arab Emirates are willing to bear, making investments in the production of different areas agricultural for the Dominican population, if the State provides land for sowing those crops.
Both Ministers agreed on the importance of binational of such agreement and were convinced that put it into practice might be converted to the Dominican Republic in a model of cooperation interstate to follow in Latin America.
During the meeting with Zayed to the u000aNayhan, Chancellor Morales Troncoso was accompanied by the Ambassador of the Dominican Republic to the United Arab Emirates, Clara Martinez - Thedy of Safa.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs visited the capital of the United Arab Emirates, as part of the 40th anniversary of the Federation of States located southeast of the árabiga peninsula in the Persian Gulf.
In the next hours, Morales Troncoso moved to the Mexican United States, where he will meet President Leonel Fernandez to participate in the Summit of the Tuxtla.
