Quoting inhabitants of the town of silk (Serthar in Tibetan), RFA pointed out that the Chinese authorities had "killed with bullets up to five Tibetans and severely wounding 40 on Tuesday".
"Became a kind of martial law", said an inhabitant of silk called Ganta, specifying that "Tibetans are hiding in their homes and police open fire on anyone that aventure to take to the streets" to radio. Some 40 people have been arrested, according to the same sources.
