Police recover jeep stolen from Canadian

The National Police have recovered a jeep stolen from a Canadian tourist, Ucelo Berco, 29, staying at a Sosua hotel. The vehicle was registered in the name of Veljko Uzelac.
The Mitsubishi Montero was found in the possession of two men; Jos Gabriel Rodrguez Daz, 19, from Paloma and Flix Urea Collado, 50, from Santiago.
The police report said that Collado was admitted to the Jos Mara Cabral y Bez hospital with injuries to both legs and pelvic area. While investigating the case, the police discovered the Canadians vehicle which also contained six mobile phones.
