Possible fraud in Queens County

Authorities are investigating an alleged fraud type pyramid which could have harmed dozens of immigrants, mostly Ecuadorian in the neighborhood of Queens.
The Office of the Queens, Richard Brown, District Attorney is considering the numerous complaints filed by immigrants, said spokeswoman Helen Peterson, without offering more details.
The business has resulted in the loss of thousands of dollars for at least 400 Hispanic immigrants, said several Ecuadorians and Colombians consider themselves victims of the operation of the company investors United, Inc., headquartered in Rego Park in the County of Queens.
