La Superintendencia de Electricidad (SIE) and the Presidential Office of the information and communication technologies (Optic) integrated Protection Department consumer (Protecom) to the center of Government contact, so from this moment the users of the electricity sector will receive free information line * 462.
The fact became known through the signing of a collaboration agreement between the two institutions, with the objective of offering citizens the General information concerning the electrical service, provided by Protecom. The agreement was signed by Juan Bautista Gómez, Superintendent of electricity, and Domingo Tavares, director of the Optic
Protecom is a unit of the Superintendency of electricity created for dealing with complaints by billing of energy between users and distributors of electricity, as well as the violations to the General Law of electricity u000a125-01, which seeks to provide reliable guidance with professionalism and closer to the ISE users service electric.
Benefit
the agreement will allow access to information such as requirements to make claims, pricing and tariffs for regulated users, mission, vision and values, Protecom functions, offices phones and name of law enforcement. The project will offer services from 8: 00 a.m. until 8: 00 pm and a new channel of contact between Protecom and the users of the service will be enabled electric.
The Center for Government contact for the citizen is an initiative developed by the Optic as part of the project focus to the citizen in the framework of e-Government to provide free information, by telephone, on the services offered by the Dominican State institutions.
