PRD contends the NJC the records in which the members of the high courts were chosen

Members of the Commission of Justice of the party revolutionary Dominicano (PRD) called today on the National Judiciary Council (NJC) issuing the certified records of the meetings of the Agency on 19 and 21 December in which the members of the high courts were selected last.

Rafael Elena Regalado, Elpidio Ramirez, julio Cesar Arias Mota and Alberto Tavares petitioned the NJC proceedings seeking to contain the detailed vote obtained by each of the persons designated, the results of the assessment the judges of the Supreme Court of Justice (SCJ) the reasons for the decision for the ratification of the justices Víctor José Castellanos, Edgar Hernández and José María Rodríguez of Gory.

Members of the Commission of Justice of the white party, urge the members of the NJC to explaining them the motivations for a decision of removal of several judges of the SCJ that not surpassed the age of 75 u000ayears.

They also requested that you issued them an act certified the decision on the formal appeal filed by the Commission against Mariano German Mejia, dated 15 December last, who was selected by the CNM as President of the SCJ.

The body was deposited before the Secretary of the Secretary of the NJC, Víctor José Castellanos.
