Signatory legislators understand that presidential candidate and the President of the PRD "must be a same speech and actions", to perform a graceful role in elections in the coming May 20.
"Understand the signatories this license must be the last alternative, since that appeal to his social career, conduct ideological and political", they said, and added that Vargas "has a commitment with history, perredeísta militancy and with the Dominican people that is mired in poverty, and" u000a"demand a change of a better country, but for all", in allusion to the slogan of Mejía.
As, Bautista said that "what matters is not that the Commission should speed up the work, the important thing for us is that the perredeístas are integrated to working on the campaign, being carried out according to plan and Miguel is on the institutional side, i.e. that the PRD is working on the streets".
Differences
Bautista, who belongs to a Commission of mediation between Mejia and Vargas, coincided with the former head of campaign of Vargas, Alfredo Pacheco, in pointing out that the desire for change in the majority of the population and the aspiration of the perredeístas power, outweigh any differences between the leaders of that party. "The will and the need for change that has the Dominican Republic is stronger than any of the perredeístas individual will," said Pacheco.
The President in u000afunctions of the PRD expressed that all perredeístas are aware of the need to defeat the LDP and the Government and therefore have been integrating fully with the electoral campaign throughout the country.
Relation to the survey Penn Schoen that located the candidate of the LDP with 46% against 44% for Mejia, Bautista noted that this fits into the political campaign of the LDP and the Government.
