PRD says the Board must preserve its credibility

The head of campaign of the Dominican Revolutionary Party (PRD), César Cedeño, said yesterday that was not the party which has generated noises on the Central Electoral Board, but that this institution has not been able to handle an internal conflict that threatens its credibility.

Cedeño said that it is the electoral management body that must ensure its own credibility, after specify which is the society which calls for the replacement of Franklin Frias of the direction of computations of the PVE.

"We agree with the cardinal that should bring tranquility to the electoral process, but was not the PRD which brought this problem to the Central Electoral Board, was the Board that generated that and we got in watchful eye," explained.

Clarified that the PRD is not asking for that is to appoint leaders perredeístas in the Department of computer science or in the conduct of elections, but those who count the votes are transparent and without u000aties that commit them to the Government.

On their side, the delegate of the PRD before the JCE, Salvador Ramos, considered that to the President of that entity, Roberto Rosario, he has escaped the internal problem that was generated within this institution, "as a problem of administrative nature became a problem of a political nature".
