President sends message to the people for Christmas

President Leonel Fernandez sent a message of brotherhood, coexistence, joy and optimism to the people of the Dominican Republic on the occasion of the festivities this Saturday holiday.
The representative stressed that despite the most severe economic crisis of the last 80 years, Dominican Republic has managed to overcome her.
"Look to the future with great optimism and, above all, with strong faith in God, trusting in the Dominican people that we will always go forward", he added.
Fernández was expressed in those terms prior to participate at a luncheon organised by the coordinators of the 2011 Funglode Cup, which is carried out in La Romana Country Club of House of field.
In that order, the head of State said that the practice of golf is a profitable industry and generated many resources in the world.

Fernandez spoke of the issue after making the throw-off of honour at the opening of the 7th version of Cup Golf, 2011, in La Romana Country Funglode u000aClub, Casa de Campo.
There will be 175 participants in this sport and will play with a new form: that of "best ball mixed couples".
During the kick of honor, the head of State was accompanied by Eddy Martínez, President of the Organizing Committee of the fair, the Ministers of sports, Felipe Payano, and Foreign Affairs, Carlos Morales Troncoso. Also attended the star Dominican baseball major league baseball, Robinson Canó, among other personalities.
