Prisons to block cellphone signals for inmates

The Attorney General Radhamés Jiménez Peña, reported yesterday that the authorities are working on a project to block cell phone signals in prisons.
Apparently, many inmates in various prisons are making cellphone calls to blackmail and to coordinate other criminal activities.
The Director of Public Prosecutions said the system will cover the new Corrections and Rehabilitation centers, as well as the traditional penitentiaries.
