Prosecutor calls for sending of agents to investigate crime

The National District Prosecutor yesterday requested the head of the national police refer you to several agents of the institution involved in an incident that killed a young man in the Christ the King, in the capital sector.

Alexander Moscoso Segarra, in a letter sent to the police Chief, major general José Armando Polanco Gómez, asks him to refer you to the officers, whose names did not mention, to investigate them in relation to the death of the young Giordano Rafael Hernández, 20 years old.

"Very politely, then greet you, I have to either ask you refer to this prosecution agents who were involved in the incident which killed the young Giordano Rafael Hernández", argues Moscoso Segarra.

According to the head of the public prosecutor's Office, the incident that killed Hernandez occurred in calle Pablo VI, number 33, of the referred capital sector. The Prosecutor said that research seeks to determine the responsibilities which derived u000aof the facts cited.

Denies version
on the case, the spokesman for the police, Colonel maximum Báez Aybar, rejected the head of the institution to try to persuade the families of the young dead to avoid that the agents involved in the fact are brought to justice.

He said that all were aware of the moral integrity of major general Polanco Gómez, who said that he would not devote to irregularities.

He assured that they will be brought to justice all those involved in the murder of the young Hernández.

He claimed that Polanco Gómez ordered the arrest of the satin of the institution, Carlos Vasquez Bautista, who would have shot Hernández, without any justification, when it gave follow-up, along with other police officers, a group of suspected robbers.
