Protest comes to New York from Washington

Soaked with blisters and tired they came to the US capital a few tens of protesters of the movement Ocupemos Wall Street after a March of two weeks and more than 385 kilometers from parque Zuccotti in lower Manhattan.

The demonstrators, many using ponchos with hood in the persistent rain, walked to the camp to deal with D.C., where his fellow demonstrators lined up outside their tents and cheered them with cheers and hugs. Organizers said the March, called to deal with the motorway, fulfilled its objective of bringing their concerns about income inequality and influence corporate policy elsewhere, including rural communities which until then had had little exposure to the movement.

"People who had never heard of occupation already knew about it", said Owen Johnson, 23, an artist of North Pownal, Vermont, made by the u000aMarch learns barefoot.

Johnson, who was cut several times the foot, but still managed to go ahead with hiking boots, said that the March was a profound experience.
