PRSC warns put to justice to using them improper way the party symbols

The reformist Social Christian Party (PRSC) warned yesterday that it will use the instances legal against former leaders of that organization that are making improper use of the name and symbols, logos and emblems of the political entity in activities proselytising of the presidential candidate of the Dominican Revolutionary Party (PRD) in severe violation of the law 30-06

The warning made it the organizing Secretary of the PRSC, Deputy maximum Castro Silverio, who explained that some former leaders who recently left the ranks of this political formation are illegally using the symbols of that entity in violation of the aforementioned law.

"We will take legal action against persons who are incurring this violation," explained.

Castro Silverio said that in the coming days they delivered an instance with the Central Electoral Board (JCE) so take sanctions where appropriate and will discontinue with u000aThis practice of using symbols, logos, emblem and colors of the reform party in the PRD activities.

Argued that the improper use of the symbols of the PRSC what it seeks is confused to the leadership and membership of the party and the people in a general sense in the face of next May's presidential elections.

He recalled that the law provides sanctions criminal and civil against people illegally using the name and the symbols of another party, as it is happening with the PRSC nowadays to people outside the organization use flags, posters, anthem, coat of arms and colors in proselytizing of other forces acts policy.

The official reformist and Deputy for the province of Santiago noted in that regard that article 1 of the law 30-06 prohibits the use by individuals, groups, movements and parties, in the media and public acts, the designation or slogan, drawings u000acontaining symbol, colours, emblem and flag, already registered in the JCE, and that distinguishes a political grouping of any other existing ones, without the proper authorization.
