PVE rejects 13 Parties called for recognition

La Junta Central Electoral (PVE) rejected the application for recognition of 13 political parties, on the grounds that they did not complete the legal requirements, or met the regulations approved for such purposes.

Rejected requests correspond to parties Fifth Republic of the former cretario of the armed forces in the Government of Hipólito Mejía, retired major general Jose Miguel Soto Jimenez; National Salvation (PSN), Christian Socialist (PSC), new generation (PNG), fatherland for all (MPT), green of the Democratic Unity (PVUD), national conciliation (PCN) and the Popular progressive (PPP).

In addition, the missionary Christian movement, Dominican force abroad, (FDE), Renaissance Dominican (PR), forces live in development (PFVD) and nationalist Dominicano.

The decision was adopted by the plenary of the PVE in a session headed by the Deputy of the Chairman, Juan Isidro Moreno, due to its President, Roberto u000aRosario, is out of the country acting officers.

The House hosted a report submitted by the Commission together electoral and political parties, which coordinates the judge Eddy Olivares and relied on field work carried out by staff and inspectors of the institution which they toured throughout the country and visited all of the members indicated by the Statistics Division of the JCE in the sample of members of each group that requested the recognition legal.

Motivations the JCE
reported in a note that its inspectors reported that they realized that the new generation party has only 24 directives and 26 local in different provinces of the country.

With regard to verification of affiliates, known for the JCE report points out that article 8, paragraph (c) of resolution No. 19/2011, from December 5 of that year, establishes that "in the sample to be checked, they should be contacted" u000a"more than 50 per cent of those who have been subjected as members of the party, whose percentage confirm Yes more than 50% of the members, without which requirement, the party would be ruled out".

, It was reported that the House also met the proposals of resolutions on format and preparation of the Electoral ballot, as well as the relative order of parties on the ballot of the presidential elections and members from overseas from next May 20.

Also proceeded to cancel, by death, a total of 2,049 certificates of identity and Electoral records, 270 records for impersonation, nine files by impersonate people dead, 253 cancellations of ballots by more than one registration and falsity of 79 cases of identity data and electoral.
